The sports car is based on the 570S and is the third McLaren production car to receive the longtail treatment. The car was first unveiled by McLaren in June of 2018. The top of the line sports car was inspired by the 675LT and the F1 GTR Longtail, the body of the car has been extended by 73.7 mm (2.9 in). The car features a number of enhanced aerodynamic elements including an extended front splitter and rear diffuser, new side sills, and an aero-enhancing fixed rear wing for increased downforce. The 600LT has several distinguishing features which include the lightweight titanium exhaust system which is mounted on top of the rear of the car which harks back to its original application in the Senna. The interior of the car is immaculate, with bucket seats from the P1 and Alcantara trim, however, this can be optioned with the much lighter bucket seats found in the Senna.
